Shawnee Park Disc Golf Course
Many people enjoy a game of disc golf in the early morning. In fact, the park opens at 5:00 a.m. every day of the week. If you prefer to play after work or on a summer evening, you’ll have plenty of time to do so. The park closes at 11:00 p.m. every day.
The peaceful setting is perfect for a good game, whichever time you choose to play. Further, trees line the golf course, and a walking trail borders the beautiful grounds.
At the edge of the course, you’ll be treated to a view of a peaceful lake, complete with a fountain and water lilies.
Alex Clark Memorial Disc Golf Course
Head a little further afield to McKinney and traverse the 18 acres devoted exclusively to the joys of this sport. The course offers 18 holes, which means you’ll enjoy many opportunities to test both your stamina and the strength of your throwing arm.
If you’d like to take a break, many large trees offer shelter. You can also choose to play in the cooler morning air; the park opens by 8:00 a.m. You can also play a late afternoon game with friends. Note that the park closes at 6:00 p.m. every day.
These Collin County disc golf courses offer plenty of fun for everyone. After a fun game with friends, heading back to your luxurious apartment at Marquette at Preston Park will be a treat!
