This gallery in Dallas is one of the country’s finest of its type. It offers the work of over 300 artists, and you can shop from home. Here are three artists you can discover from Marquette at Preston Park:

Kathryn Adams

Kathryn Adams graduated from Alfred University in 2011. She earned a BFA with a focus on glass art. Today, Kathryn creates custom lighting and other decorative designs. When she’s not blowing glass, she works at a nonprofit glass center where she’s an operations manager.

Mark Gordon

Mark Gordon began working with glass in 2003. He creates in Oregon, where he lets the glass tell him what it wants to be. Every piece inspires the next. Mark enjoys the process from start to finish, and the final product features the right balance of color, shape, and design.

Julie Bergen

After making flutes, Julie Bergen turned to glassblowing. She studied at the Pilchuck Glass School. Today, she’s an instructor and helps everyone discover this time-honored art form. Julie also creates unique glassware, which you can buy from the gallery.

Shane Fero

An award-winning artist, Shane Fero uses colored glass in different forms. He’s known for creating swirling patterns and mysterious movements of color. His work has been displayed at the Southern Ohio Museum and the Mint Museum of Art, among other institutions. Shane creates glass-blown birds full of color and personality. You can choose from warblers, quails, goldfinches, and other species.
